Something about me

I mentioned this on JPS thread but I am an artist and teacher in the states.
This April I will be making a huge life change by moving to Japan.
I was offered a job teaching English in Miyagi Prefecture. I am not going to lie: had I not gotten so interested in OR's music (and other Japanese artist) I may not have gone forward with a plan that had been a wishful thinking. While in Japan, I hope to see them in concert at least once...I may even join the RA (wouldn't that be something!!)

You are such a passionate fan LilKBunni. I truly hope you'll have a blast in Japan. While learning and working, also having the time to enjoy OR concerts. Oooh it would so amazing, if you could be and AID member and maybe even going to an AID Jam concert .
Wait for us all to join you!

I had been toying with the idea of living in Asia for year, but just recently decided on Japan.
Yeah, I guess I am a devoted fan
I am really excited to learn about the culture and people and the language. I also hope the experience will add more depth to my art (because it is kinda bland).

I'll be moving to continue my college to Busan, South Korea in 2010. I'll be graduating from high school June 2009, and after that will be taking an intensive learning of Korean language (but my father have ordered me to join a Korean language course myself eversince early 2008) for 6 months and leaving to Korea in early March 2010.

South Korea - Japan is only an hour by plane, right?????

Mom-Dad promised me a trip to Japan once I'm graduating from high school though. Which means, next year!

I'm a teacher too, but I'm quitting after my first year. How long have you been a teacher KBunni? I just made the decision to quit... I have found it so hard, and I have no support or positive feedback from anyone... That ties into my OR madness, I need positive thinking and feelings from somewhere! And OR is positive music.

my senpai (senior) who is now in Japan said that you better join the official fan club to get the concert ticket... it's much more easier if you're a member...

yeah, I totally plan to join the fan club! I have to be sure I get hooked up with the right mobile phone provider so I can do the Spice @ Orange Range thingie...

Oh yeah, Adage...I have been teaching for about a year. Luckily I am not "in" the school system. I work for a private company that specializes in Art for young students. I enjoy it so far. That helped color my decision to try ALT (assistant language teaching)...that an my OR madness.

So, BlackMonn, are saying both Softbank and DoCoMo do it or is is one or the other (going to check it out right now )
