Plot:
Seventeen-year-old Bella Swan moves to the small town of Forks, Washington, to live with her father, Charlie. There, she finds herself drawn to a mysterious classmate, Edward Cullen, who is revealed to be a 108-year-old vampire, but is physically seventeen years old. Although Edward discourages the romance at first, they soon fall deeply in love. When the arrival of three nomadic vampires, James, Victoria, and Laurent, puts Bella's life in danger, Edward and his family, Alice, Carlisle, Esme, Jasper, Emmett and Rosalie, put their lives at stake to save her.

how i'd wish to have those vampire eyes T_T i wish i wish i wish!

I'm searching for "Breaking Dawn" the last sequel of this novel..

Plot summary

Breaking Dawn is split into three separate "books", or parts. The first part details Bella's marriage and honeymoon with Edward, which they spend on a private island off the coast of Brazil. Edward grants Bella's wish and makes love to her. Soon after, Bella finds a box of unused tampons and realizes that she is pregnant. After contacting Carlisle, who confirms her belief, she and Edward plan to return home. Edward, concerned for her well being, urges her to get an abortion. However, Bella wants to keep the child and decides to contact Rosalie for support, knowing that Rosalie has always wanted children.

The second part of the novel is written from Jacob Black's point of view, and lasts throughout Bella's pregnancy and childbirth. The pack of werewolves, not knowing what danger the unborn child may pose, make plans to destroy it, even though they must kill Bella to do so. Jacob vehemently disagrees with this decision and revolts, leaving the pack to form his own with Seth and Leah Clearwater. Bella soon gives birth, approximately a month after becoming pregnant. The baby breaks many of her bones, and Bella loses massive amounts of blood. In order to save her life, Edward changes her into a vampire. Jacob, who was present for the birth, immediately "imprints" — an involuntary response in which a werewolf finds his soul mate — on Bella's newborn daughter, Renesmee.

The third section of Breaking Dawn shifts back to Bella's perspective, finding her changed into a vampire and enjoying her new life and abilities. However, the vampire Irina misidentifies Renesmee as an "immortal child", a child who has been turned into a vampire. The creation and protection of "immortal children" was previously outlawed by the Volturi. After Irina presents her allegation to the Volturi, they plan to destroy Renesmee and the Cullens. In an attempt to save her, the Cullens gather vampires from around the world to stand as witnesses and prove to the Volturi that Renesmee is not an immortal child. Upon confronting the gathered Cullen allies and witnesses, the Volturi discover that they have been misinformed and immediately execute Irina for her mistake. However, they remain undecided on whether Renesmee should be viewed as a threat to the secret existence of vampires. At that time, Alice and Jasper, who had left prior to the confrontation, return with Nahuel, a 150-year-old vampire-human crossbreed like Renesmee. He demonstrates that the crossbreeds pose no threat and the Volturi leave, knowing that they no longer have just reason to destroy Renesmee. Bella, Edward and Renesmee return to their home, free to live their lives in peace.

I LOVE TWILIGHT! *echoes*

omg omg
i can't believe i can be so attached with a movie like this!! i love love love it! good god i never read the novels. i'm planning to buy twilight and new moon in a local bookstore today though! :3 but seriously, i did all those freaky stuff in the theater! i squealed, i screamed of love!! i watched it TWICE~~ *faints*

*cough*
you see, i'm no big fan of romantic movies. i had thought that this would be a kind of boring movie but i was COMPLETELY wrong. the visual effects still need to be worked at a little while longer but overall it is a good movie. "good" as in the lame-ness and Edward IS as a big blowhard! LOL he says too much love lines, all those stuff and it makes me like i am about to explode. on the first watch, i had wanted to get out from the theater asap simply because i couldn't take those so-sweet two lovebirds anymore... phew. xD

^LOL i can't blame on you for it. robert pattison is fine, he's not handsome but he's got this high-class aura and weird face frames. very monster-ish, i think.. i just finished reading twilight, and oh my..even more cute quarrels between them! *faints* i understand now, by "too much skipped" that Raku-chan was talking about. and i'm sorry for all fans who feel the same way like her. i'd be so pissed off, too, if i were to read the novels first =]

oh cool! my parents havent watched it! i'm thinking about it though.

people who know me well are bragging it about like i have gone senile. like i am the juvenile one for liking twilight and its lame breathtaking love scenes... xD yeah..say..i'm a traitor because i love twilight and then what? things do happen right? *self-defense mode on*

Re: Twilight the movie

Post by zomer on Mon Dec 08, 2008 3:10 pm

I finished Twilight last week and saw the movie on google video Very Happy. My friend was raving about the book, so I decided to give it a try. I am feeling ambivalent towards this book. I do understand why it is so populair.
It is one of the most cheesy romantic stories I have read, but it was the romantic parts that actually saved the book from going downhill. I am a grammar spaz myself, but I couldnt help noticing the bad writing and errors in the book.
Some words were kinda repetitive like his beautiful crooked smile. And Meyer got the gift to make an adjective completely redundant. Edward's cold smooth pale skin and his iridescent wrist LOL. Bella was chewing on her cereal, she put down her bowl, washed the dishes and put the bowl aside. Very important to know about how she eats her cereal.

Despite all this, I thought it was not a bad book, it's an easy read, the movie was quite loyal towards the book except for a few parts, which were understandable.

Robert Pattinson is quite hot LOL. He was Cedric in Harry Potter.
