I can't believe Hiroki and Yamato can sing so well and often with such a vocal-distructive habit. It's going to come back and haunt them, sooner or later. If they really wanted OR's success (and their vocal chords) to last, they'll quit sooner than later.

as for vocal-destructive.. take notice that Yamato is the easiest one to lose his breath while singing which then resulting in a chaos of his singing tunes.

I just figured that with such a thing as their careers on the line, they might seriously consider finding a way to quit.

@ BlackMonn Since yes, it really is already effecting their talents (I have noticed Yamato's decine. He does far less live improvisation now than he did back in early 005). I miss it. And their energy on stage will only lessen the longer they keep the habit up.

But it's also true that the biz may be stressful and they picked up smoking to calm their nerves, but right now, with their popularity decreasing in their home country, they need all the raw talent they can get, and Naoto's synthizizing can only cover up so much.

yeah.. you know i was actually a bit dismayed when i knew that Ikenai Taiyou was one of their old works. It was when I first listened to Ikenai Taiyou preview I really felt their "magic". Good response was also coming from casual listeners - those who hate OR's 4th album and Ika SUMMER.

So I was like "Huh yeah no wonder" when the truth got revealed.
