Hmmm... yes, I'm really wondering what his song is really about as well. I know it sounds like it's about friendship, so it definately could be, but I'm confused by Yamato's bridge part. If we knew the translation for the non-english parts, I'm sure it would be easy to tell.

When Yama sings RAKKI BOY, is 'rakki' the Japanese pronunciation/spelling of 'lucky'?

DreadFox, ow yes, it's already answered by others, but "RAKKI" is "lucky" indeed.
I was tempted to write lucky instead or RAKKI when romanizing the lyric, but I figured to stick to the way they have wrote it and kept the lyric as original as I could. (unless it looked really weird, like in the chorus of "Beat it", otherwise, I'd translate the katakana bits just as they are).

I understand. I just wanted to be sure, since I'd always sung it as 'lucky' anyway. But thank you!!
